Bitten by Edward

I am no fan of 'Twilight' when it first emerged in the movie scene for three reasons: 1) I synonymously compared it to Harry Potter (no offense to the Harry Potter geeks) which is another im-not-a-fan-of film. 2) I prefer to be a fan of a movie that most of the people aren't crazy about. 3) vampires, ghosts, monsters scare me. I am even not a fan of horror films. It makes my hair stand and leaves me halfly covering my eyes with my hands! and lastly 4) due to some reviews saying that the film is no good.

Honestly, I haven't watched the film yet but I have read the book (ebook specifically)! And at that instance,I was euphorically reading it from page to page, thirsty for more reads just like a blood drinker thirsty for his victim's blood!

The Twilight ebook together with the other series (new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn) came to me by fate. I just found myself google-ing it and I luckily suprised myself when I was saving these ebooks for my future read. I was just curious that time hearing my friends and classmates talking about this vampire-ry film. Questioning them why they love it even came to reality until I too, was hooked by the Twilight fever. But that doesn't stop there, the temperature even gained it's rise when I had given enough room for the other three series. If this is the twilight fever they're calling, I probably have broke the thermometer!

Yes, I was figuratively bitten by Edward(a vampire in the story who fell inlove with Bella) and the venom already had spread unto the whole of me and that converted me into a pure-blooded Twilight fan(fan of the book only! Let's just see if the movie will mold me more than what the book had turned me!). And my symptoms of becoming as such?? I just sent the ebooks to my friends and classmates who wanted a copy for themselves yesterday(without pay for the sake of Christmas), I am spending hours(lots of hours not minding how much electricity bill it'll cost me) just to finish the whole series, and lastly, I can't wait to see the movie and I'm looking forward of buying a copy by the time that I shop for myself this Christmas! It will never be erased on my Christmas list not until I get one!

For the spirit of Christmas and for the celebration of my conversion as a pure-blooded Twilight fan, I'll be leaving this link in this post for the readers who do want to have an ebook of the series. It's worth the read and electricity bill

Digitally Designed

Our first Digital Design laboratory class came to existence last Friday, December 12, 2008 when we had the actual implementation of the topics that we've discussed through the activity that we had using connectors, circuits and a huge digital trainer. My excitement for the activity got me into taking some pictures while we are doing the said activity! I had Elymar and El as my groupmates and we now call ourselves..."3Es"! I know it's dumb and lame but that's the only name that I can come up with for my group as of now! I'll think of some better names later! This is just a temporary groupname so no worries!

And now, presenting... the '3Es' with connectors, circuits and that huge digital trainer!

WANTED

"Kill one, save a thousand"
"Within the fabric of this world, every life hangs by a thread"
"Are you the sheep or the wolf? The choice is yours"
----from 'Wanted'

Being stuck in the most boring day of all the days, time of all the times...a breathtaking movie is probably what I really need! and it came by a surprise! Well, to cut the story short, I borrowed a copy of the movie from my classmate and I watched it at home! I'm longing for the movie from the moment I saw the action-packed trailer and with the copy of it on my hands, there's no way that I'm gonna let it go!

OFFICIAL MOVIE REVIEW:

"Wanted" is a tale of Wesley Gibson, a 'nobody', literally and figuratively a 'nobody' stucked in his ordinary and pathetic world. He has his pathetic boss and a girlfriend who ignores him and who is hooked by his pervertible bestfriend! At first, he isn't 'the man' until one ordinary grocery routine, he met Fox and told him that his father, who he had never seen in his entire life, was murdered by Cross. It then all started with that and later on, he joined the fraternity of assassins managed by Sloan. He was trained to be the greatest assassin like his father. He was then given assignments, to kill the targets the 'Loom of Fate' has provided. He was at first doubtful! Why would he kill someone he didn't know! Had this person done bad in his life for him to deserve to be killed? but with the fraternity's legacy...'Kill one, save a thousand', he was then transformed into an unbeatable assassin until he was appointed to target Cross. He wants to vow revenge for his father and revenge is what really matters.

SPOILER ALERT! If you don't want to know the whole story and the revealing twist, STOP READING!

During the action-packed scene in the train station, where he was already fighting with Cross, he was able to shot him until he found out that Cross is not trying to kill him but instead, he was trying to rescue him from the fraternity.Cross is his father(This is actually the twist of some movies...the enemy is related to the 'bida'!duh)! The fraternity lied to him! He was then served by the truth and now, he wants revenge once more...revenge to Sloan and the fraternity who made a son kill his own father! He made this big bang to the fraternity hide-out which involves bombs attached to rats(lots of rats)! Later on, the other assassins including Fox knew the whole truth!Fox then chose to save Wesley and later on killed the other assassins including herself(a martyr-ic act)! To end this, Sloan was then killed by Wesley through a deceiving act just like what his real father had done! He now nailed his own revenge for his father!

To those who haven't watched it yet, I really do want you to give this movie a chance! It's really breath-taking! Not a single dull moment! I really love the action scenes including Wesley's training on how to curve a bullet to shoot a target! Angelina Jolie's really great and sexy! She never fails to excite the viewers! This is something you really don't wanna miss! And I'm demanding for a sequel! SEQUEL! SEQUEL! SEQUEL!
